ചിക്കാഗോ: സെന്റ് മേരീസ് ക്നാനായ കത്തോലിക്ക ഇടവകയുടെ ധനശേഖരണാര്‍ഥം ഏപ്രില്‍ 26ന് നടത്തുന്ന ഈ വര്‍ഷത്തെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച സുരേഷ് ഗോപി സൂപ്പര്‍ ഷോയുടെ കിക്കോഫ് കഴിഞ്ഞ ഞായറാഴ്ച രാവിലെ കുര്‍ബാനയെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് നടത്തപ്പെട്ടു.കിക്കോഫ് ദിനത്തില്‍ ഒരു ലക്ഷത്തോളം

ഡോളറിന്റെ സ്പോണ്‍സര്‍ഷിപ്പ് ലഭിച്ചു.10000,5000,3500,2500,1000 എന്നി നിലയിലാണ് സ്പോണ്‍സര്‍മാര്‍ സഹകരിച്ചത്.60ല്‍ അധികം 1000 സ്പോണ്‍സര്‍മാരുടെ സഹകരണമാണ് ആദ്യ ദിനത്തില്‍ കിക്കോഫ് ഇത്ര വിജയമായത്.ചിക്കാഗോയിലെ ക്നാനായ മക്കള്‍ പ്രതിസന്ധി ഘട്ടങ്ങളില്‍ സഹകരിക്കുന്ന വിശാല മനസ്ക്കരാണന്ന് കിക്കോഫിനു ശേഷം ഫാ. ഏബ്രാഹം മുത്തോലത്ത് പറഞ്ഞു. സെന്റ് മേരീസ് ഇടവകയുടെ അനുദിന പ്രവര്‍ത്തന പരിപാടികളിലെ വികസനപ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ക്കാണ് ഫണ്ട് വിനിയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. കൂടാതെയുള്ള മറ്റ് ഉദ്ദേശ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളും ട്രസ്റ്റി കോര്‍ഡിനേറ്റര്‍ ജിനോ കക്കാട്ടില്‍ വിശദികരിച്ചു.

ഈ വര്‍ഷം അമേരിക്കയില്‍ എത്തുന്ന നിരവധി ഷോ കളില്‍ താരമൂല്യവും ഏറെ ആളുകള്‍ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന കലാകാരന്‍മാര്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്ന ഏകഷോ എന്ന നിലയിലും ജനപ്രിയ താരങ്ങളാല്‍ സമ്പന്നമായ ഒരു സൂപ്പര്‍ഷോ എന്ന നിലയിലും സുരേഷ് ഗോപി ശ്രദ്ധേയമായിരിക്കുകയാണന്ന് ഫണ്ട് റൈസിംഗ് കമ്മിറ്റി ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ തമ്പി വിരുത്തികുളങ്ങര അറിയിച്ചു.

സുരേഷ്ഗോപി, സുരാജ് വെഞ്ഞാറൂംമൂട് , അനന്യ, രഞ്ജിനി ഹരിദാസ് ് ഫ്രാങ്കോ, വെഡാഫോണ്‍ കോമഡി സ്റ്റാര്‍സ് തുടങ്ങി വളരെ കഴിവും ജനപ്രിയരുമായ പ്രതിഭകള്‍ മാറ്റുരയ്ക്കുന്ന ഈ സൂപ്പര്‍ഷോ എന്തു കൊണ്ടും അമേരിക്കയിലെ 2013ലെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച ഷോയായിരിക്കുമെന്ന് പള്ളി കമ്മിറ്റി അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു.തോമസ് ഐക്കരപ്പറമ്പില്‍, ബിജു കണ്ണ്ണച്ചാംപ്പറമ്പില്‍, റ്റോമി എടത്തില്‍, ജോണിക്കുട്ടി പിള്ളവീട്ടില്‍, സാജു കണ്ണമ്പള്ളി, ജോയിസ് മറ്റത്തിക്കുന്നേല്‍, പോള്‍സണ്‍ കുളങ്ങര, സ്റ്റീഫന്‍ കിഴക്കേകൂറ്റ്, മേരി ആലുങ്കല്‍, സിസ്റ്റര്‍ സേവ്യര്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ കിക്കോഫിന് നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കി.

Fundrasing kickoff a great success in Chicago St. Mary's

The Chicago St. Mary's Knanaya Catholic Church's fundraising program The Suresh Gopi & Team Super Show is scheduled for April 26, 2013 at The Copernicus (Gateway) Theater. The show includes super star Suresh Gopi, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Vineeth, Ananya, Ranjini Haridas, Franco and many other talented artists.

The fundraising kick-off held today at St. Mary's Knanaya Catholic Church was a grand success. Over 70 people offered sponsorships ranging from $1000 to $10,000. The fundraising program will help to support the maintenance work needed at the church. We appreciate all the support and encouragement provided by the community members. We look forward to the continued support and more sponsorships in the coming weeks.

FAMILLY WEEKLY CHALLENGE (QUIZ) # 1

Knanaya Media is offering a “Weekly Family Challenge” starting this issue. It can be answered via internet or by regular mail. Winners will be selected and rewarded quarterly and annually.

The following are the guidelines for Weekly Family Challenge (WFC)

1. Five questions will be published in each issue of the Knanaya Media

2. Answers for the WFC quiz should reach the quizmaster within 10 days. Answers can be sent by ivas amail, e-mail to quiz@knanayamedia.com or can be submitted at www.knanayamedia.com/quiz.htm

3. The results will be published after two weeks of posting the questions. For example, first week’s answers will be published in 3rd week and 2nd week’s answers will be published in 4th week.

4. Three best performing families from the Knanaya Region will be selected and awarded for that quarter.

5. The top-scored three families will be selected annually and awarded with $250, 150 and 100. They will be specially honored via Knanaya Media.

6. The decisions of the WFC Team on answers and selection will be final.
